Aftercare
There are four main stages of tattoo healing.
Tattoos are healed to the touch after about two weeks, however they aren’t FULLY healed (under the skin) until about a month. Of course everyone is different and some people will heal faster/slower then others. Be mindful and contact your artist if you have concerns about the healing of your tattoo.
Fresh (Days 1-6)
- Feeling warm to the touch
- Plasma, ink, and blood coming to the surface
Itchy/Peeling (days 7-14)
- Flaky and peeling - like a sunburn
- The start of the itchy stage
Dry (Days 15-30)
- Peeling subsides
Fully healed (after 4-6 weeks)
